Entry to Hoy Heritage Centre is free and we programme free events for the community and visitors. We rely on donations and raffles to cover events. We offer free advice and support to anyone looking into Hoy history and we have built this website to share Hoy heritage with a wider audience. Our 3 part time staff (caretaker, heritage officer and digital archive worker) work one day a week during May to October this is supported by the Hoy Development Trust. We rely on volunteer hours and local support and the ongoing work of the dedicated committee to maintain the heritage centre.
